What a pleasure to have Chris Toussaint for a blog post interview. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.
We covered a wide range of topics (full video notes below), including how his interest in the prospect of Extraterrestrial Intelligence on earth lead him to the research and ultimately the making of Free Energy: race to zero-point. Chris acknowledges that, at the time of the film, it seemed that any one of a number of inventions and inventors were at the cusp of major commercial breath-throughs!
Fast-forward 25 years… and nothing came of them. I asked for his opinion on why this turned out to be the case, along with why zero-point energy continues to evade the world as a real and proven source of energy.
We also talked about his experiences with interviewing many of these inventors, including Tom Bearden, Troy Reed and Paul Pantone. He shared more than one instance of technology suppression, including threats of violence against an inventor.
Cold fusion is also a fascinating topic for Chris, to which he dedicated his next energy-focused film: Cold Fusion: fire from water.
