Here are the results so far. My partners at the ZPE Project Group, or just “the Group,” cleared me to share our progress with hopes of enticing any experienced collaborators. We think we know our current “hang up,” but we won’t know for sure until we’re able to obtain the part and test.

Here’s the basics of the build:

  • One brushless DC, 48v, 2000 watt motor
  • One (or more) permanent magnet alternator, 12v, 2000w

These two components are “coupled” via magnetic rotors. Not pulleys or belts. Watch the video below, you’ll see what I mean.

There are, of course, additional components for drawing and using the energy created. More on that later.

Each rotor (the black disks) has 32 magnets attached and recessed along its outer surface. These are organized in an array type fashion. The concept for this test dates to Dr. Hatem and his experiments with producing energy via these counter rotating magnetic fields.

The Group obtained help from an outside consultant and government contractor who has perfected this approach in harnessing energy via counter rotating magnetic fields.

There is a science behind tuning this device. It matters whether the magnetic south or north poles of the magnets are facing outward on the motor rotor, and in what direction that rotor spins. All of this dependent on whether the device is being operated in the norther or southern hemisphere.

This may sound nuts to some of you, but when part of your circuit is actually dependent on the space or quantum field around you, it’s not that far-fetched to consider these variable. And again, this is all coming from test and use cases by a scientist and his team having applied this technology to deliver usable energy.

In November of last year, the consultant determined that my build was “95%” there. We were simply struggling with the rotors decoupling above certain RPMs. In other words, we were unable to get the rotors to spin up to the desired RPM where usable field energy could be harnessed and used.

The problem appeared to be back EMF, or drag interfering, with the alternator above these RPMs thresholds.

We thought there simply wasn’t enough load on the circuit to allow the alternator to reach higher RPMs as current levels increased. So we introduced enough load in order to maximize the output of the alternator. Still, we were experiencing the same drag and inevitable decoupling of the rotors.

Our consultant determined we needed a more refined alternator (N40 core magnets and zero cogging) and promised to deliver one of his for final testing, but the alternator never came. He also provided us with a lead to a distributor, but he’s been out of stock for 6 months or more and with no anticipated restocking date in sight – strange.

Below are the specs to the permanent magnet alternator (PMA) we want. If anyone reading this has experience with PMAs or knows of someone that does AND could build one, please reach out. Fyi, I have already used AIs to do this research. I’m specifically requesting help from those that are highly specialized in this field.

  • Completely Brushless design
  • Specially wound High-Output stator
  • Super Strong N40 grade Neodymium rare earth magnets are at its core
  • Zero Cogging
  • Built using GM Delco type alternator components
  • Built-in rectifier (DC output is unregulated)

It’s apparent to me, even though our consultant may have had the best intentions to help with this open-sourced build, other people within his sphere of consultancy may have interfered in his ability to further help the Group. As a matter of fact, he has since rescinded his contract with the Group and promised to refund fees paid to him.

How would you interpret such a turn of events? Keeping in mind that according to him, we were “95%” there just months ago.

I will be posting on our website a document further detailing this build.
